Last updated: June 1, 2026 • At Teksolvr, your privacy is our default state. We collect the bare minimum required to keep our services running and secure.

1. Introduction

Teksolvr ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website teksolvr.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. By using Teksolvr, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

  • Browser Fingerprint: A privacy-preserving identifier generated locally in your browser using FingerprintJS (open-source). This is used solely to enforce fair-use daily quotas. It is not tied to your identity and is not sold.
  • IP Address: Collected server-side for rate limiting (100 requests/minute) to prevent abuse. Stored in-memory only — not persisted to a database.
  • Tool Usage Data: Anonymous events (e.g., "tool used", "AI query sent") sent to Google Analytics 4. No personally identifiable information is attached.
  • Cookies: Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set cookies for analytics and ad personalization. You can opt out via your browser settings or Google's opt-out tool.

3. How We Use Data

  • To enforce daily AI query limits (10 free per day per device)
  • To prevent API abuse via rate limiting
  • To understand which tools are popular (aggregated, anonymous analytics)
  • To serve relevant advertisements via Google AdSense

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process data:
  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymized usage tracking
  • Google AdSense — advertisement serving
  • Firebase (Google) — quota storage (anonymous fingerprint ID only)
  • NVIDIA NIM — AI inference (your queries are not stored beyond the request)
  • FingerprintJS (OSS) — device identifier generation (runs entirely in your browser)

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:
  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data (we hold only anonymous fingerprint IDs)
  • Object to processing for marketing purposes

6. Data Retention

Quota records (anonymous fingerprint ID + daily usage count) are automatically reset every 24 hours. No long-term profiling is performed.

7. Children's Privacy

Teksolvr does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Teksolvr after changes constitutes acceptance.
